Another one of those covers
featuring a girl in a ball gown.
Attractive.

LOCATION:
Oh gosh... I don't remember. I'll make sure to take note of the setting of the next book I read.

MAIN CHARACTERS:
This is the story of Ajax or Jax, part demon/part angel. He basically is an immortal stuck in a teen's body (sound familiar?), who has lived through history... been there, done that. Being part devil, he has to find his soulmate so that his soul will go to heaven. Then there's Sasha. From the moment Jax saw her, he knew she is THE ONE. Sasha didn't love him instantly though; at least from the point of view of Jax. Then you can probably guess the rest - girl falls in love with boy, blah blah blah.

WHAT THE BOOK IS ABOUT:
The book is about sacrifice actually. What it means to love someone. Mix it with paranormal elements of angels and demons, and viola! You have a paranormal romance for young adults. *guilty pleasure*

LOVE:
If there is one thing I like, it's probably the relationship between the main characters. Although Sasha found Jax hot from from the instant she laid eyes on him, she didn't love him right away. She realized she loves him only near the end of the book, which is actually realistic, unlike the others in the YA book jungle. Oh, and the other brothers. They're hottttt. And the russian mafia thing.

NO LOVE:
There's nothing I didn't like. I liked everything. That's just it... I liked it, but I did not love it. Nothing stands out for me.

FAVORITE CHARACTER:
I like Jax, the love interest. I think his name is actually unique, considering he's part devil and all. I like that he's honest about not knowing if he will be able to love Sasha the way he should.

FAVORITE LINE:
All those kisses from him had done this to her, and he waited to feel terrible, but it never came.Instead, he thought she was freaking glorious in her rage and determination.

MUSINGS:
There is nothing special about the book. Nothing stands out. I mean, it's really a typical YA Paranormal Romance. Heaven and hell. Good and bad. Same old, same old. If you are in a reading rut, read this to pass time.
