Character Interview: Adam from The Rising Moon (blog tour)

The Fairytale Nerd is the second stop for The Rising Moon Book Tour!

It took a lot of persuading, pleading, and flattery before I was able to convince our special guest today to agree on a character interview. So, everyone please give ADAM from The Rising Moon a very warm welcome.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Hi Adam! Welcome to The Fairytale Nerd! So, how are you today?
It's a pleasure to be here. I'm doing very well, thank you.

How is Lia?
She's fine.

What was your first impression of her?
That she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I knew she was the girl for me, the moment I saw her.

Do you have hidden talents?
Let's see…I can wiggle my ears, I can speak ten languages including sign language, play the piano, touch the tip of nose with my tongue, and fly a plane. I guess being around for so many years, you kind of pick up a lot of talents whether they be useful or not.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would want to be able to walk in daylight and I wouldn't want to hunger for blood the instant I see or smell it but unfortunately, these are things I cannot change. I chose this life and so I have to accept all that comes with
it.

Okay! Now that we know more about you, let's chat about the book. What is your favorite scene in the book?
The scene when I first saw Lia. Seeing her again after waiting almost two hundred years was a moment that will live on in my heart and mind forever.

Tell me the greatest thing about being a vampire.
Being a vampire isn't always a beautiful thing. The transformation itself isn’t easy, and then what follows is even tougher. You never forget the look of your first victim's eyes the moment you sink your teeth into them and draw the life right out them. Watching everyone you love live and die is one of the hardest things I had to deal with as a vampire. In the two hundred years that I've lived as a vampire, I have not found anything great about it… except for one. If I had never accepted to become a vampire I would never have had the chance
of seeing Lia again.

You seemed really serious in the book. Tell me what makes you laugh out loud.
I'm super ticklish. Seriously, just a light brush on my ribs would set me laughing hysterically.

Are you comfortable with talking about Zaria?
Sure.

Can you tell me about your fondest memory of her?
The night of our first kiss was also the first time she said she loved me. I will never forget it.

What do you think of Ryan Woodruff?
Ryan is Lia's best friend. At first, I felt a bit jealous of him, because I didn't know what his intentions were with her, but I later discovered that he cares for her a whole lot and I knew that I could trust him with her.

So you're okay with Lia having a male best friend?
Sure. Ryan is a good guy. There isn't any reason why it would bother me, that they're best friends.

What about Lyle Ulric?
I never really had a problem with him until I discovered he was Lobison. His family was responsible for what happened to Zaria and I made a promise to her, that I would stop at nothing until all the Ulric's were finished.

How would you feel or react if Lia chose Lyle?
I would be broken hearted. I love her and of course I want her to be with me. But I can't force her to. She's free to chose who she loves and hopefully she chooses me.

It doesn't bother you at all that you're a vampire, and your soul mate is a werewolf?
No. It doesn't bother me at all that Lia is a werewolf. We can't control who we fall in love with.

Boxers or briefs?
Boxers

Thank you so much for your time Adam!
