It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

The book/s I have read the past week, and the book/s I plan to read throughout the week.
hosted by Shiela at Book Journey

Last week, I finished these books:

Kluver's books has been unread on my shelf for a very long time. Several times in the past, I tried to read it and finish it, but I just couldn't manage, probably because there were so many other good books that were released at that time. While I have reservations regarding the overly descriptive prose, I loved Legacy as a whole! The story was just so intricately woven, and the characters were very interesting. I enjoyed the story very much.

I also read the second book (Allegiance) this week, and I have to say that there is a big improvement on EVERYTHING - the descriptions, the plot, and the pacing of the story. It was so much better than the first one. There were more action scenes in this book. I was still frustrated and annoyed by the romance aspect though.

This week I plan to read one or two of these books:
Storm by Brigid Kemmerer has been on deck for about two weeks now, and that is not a good sign. I know a lot of people love this book, but I'm already halfway through, and honestly, I don't see why people like it.

Recently reviewed:

The Vicious Deep by Zoraida Córdova (ARC)
Dark Kiss by Michelle Rowen (ARC)
