Review Policy

I accept Advance Reading Copies, eBooks, paperback editions, and hardcover editions.

I review young adult books, with themes such as urban fantasy, paranormal romance, dystopian, and historical. Sadly, I do not review non-fiction books, middle grade books, and erotica.

I can finish a book and the review in about 3-5 days. But of course it all depends on my work load that week. Nevertheless, I will strive to read all the books that were sent. This is not a guarantee, however, that I will be able to review each and every book that was sent to me. I have other things to do, and I just read on my free time. If the book is not my cup of tea, then I will stop reading it and will not review it. I don't think it's fair to review a book that I did not finish.

My review will include the basics, namely: title, author, summary (book description based on goodreads), location/setting, main characters, plot, what I liked, what I didn't like, my favorite character,my favorite line/s, and anything else i would like to say about the book. I also include the book trailer, if there is one, the website of the author, and other books that have similar themes (in my opinion) as to the book being reviewed. There is also a content review, taking into consideration the profanity, violence, and sexual content in the books. And in every book review, there is a book report card rating the book cover, plot, characters, and the ending. The rating system below will be used. Then the ratings received will be averaged in order to reach the overall rating.

* highest rating possible is 4.0

I may also include the following badges if I believe it is applicable.

A book with an overall rating of 3.5 or 4.0 automatically receives the Happily Ever After Award.

I will not include MAJOR spoilers in my review, but I cannot guarantee that there will be no mild spoilers. However, I will try very hard not to include any so as not to reveal any important detail to the readers.

I do not accept compensation for my reviews. Thus, I cannot and will not give a favorable review for every book I read, but I will be honest and fair in doing so. I am not into book advertising therefore, requests to change a negative review into a positive one will absolutely be denied.

My reviews will be published on Goodreads, Twitter, and this blog. I can also cross post it to Amazon and Barnes & Noble upon request.

With respect to Advance Reading Copies (ARCs), the ARCs I will receive will not be sold and reproduced. I will keep them for my personal use.
