Google is Shutting Down Google Friend Connect

That's right.

Google is killing Google Friend Connect on March 1, 2012 for non blogger sites as part of their spring cleaning. Read about it HERE. Apparently, it's not as popular as they expected it to be. And I think they're pushing people to sign up for Google+.


What can I say? I'm sure it's nothing personal. Business is business after all. I'm just a wee bit sad because this is not good for book bloggers. We work HARD in trying to build up our networks. Blog promotion is not easy.

I know I'm using Blogger, so I'm "safe" for now. But who knows what will happen in the future. So, I'm thinking of removing GFC when the time comes. And I might not use this for my blog promotion anymore. Let's see. Anyway, you can still follow my blog through the following:
