Brother swallowed by trees?

I'm not going to deny it, the plot sounds very much like the Iron King. But it has been quite a long time since I've read a fae book. These days, I've been reading more dystopian books. (It's not that I like dystopian, there are just more of them now.) And so, I hope this fantasy book would break that trend.
