That Tuesday Thingy #1: Teaser from Timepiece (ARC) by Myra McEntire + Top Ten Books You'd Like To See Made Into A Movie

Timepiece (ARC)
by Myra McEntire
Expected publication: June 12th 2012 by EgmontUSA
“No. I’m . . . hungry.” Suddenly desperate to make the apron look somewhat normal, I took a coated cast-iron pan down from the rack over the kitchen island. “As for the apron, I like cooking. I like kissing. I like giving orders. About both.” I stared at her until she blushed.
The teaser is from an advance copy. It may or may not appear in the final copy.

Top Ten Books You'd Like To See Made Into A Movie

Ten? Do I really have to give ten? In fact, I think most of my favorite books are already being made into movies. But anyway, here's my list - in no particular order:

One. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
While I was reading this book, I actually thought this would be a perfect Tim Burton movie. It has a dark and mysterious feel.

Two. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
A favorite...

Three. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting
The suspense and romance in The Body Finder is just to die for! It would be so nice to see it on the big screen.

Four. The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa
Another favorite...

Five. Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink
Another favorite...

Six. The Tiger Series by Colleen Houck
Yet another favorite...

Seven. The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Now this. I don't know what to say! If this book is made into a movie, I am seriously praying to the heavens above that they don't ruin Daemon for me, like they did Edward "Sparkles" Cullen. Gawd.

Eight. Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor
I have a thing for exotic and romantic places. I am in love with the setting in this book.

Nine. Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
I also have a thing for road trip movies.

Ten. Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima
Fantasy in its full glory. I love this book!
