He Said, She Said #1: Peeta Mellark

Two sides. One coin.

This week's topic:
PEETA MELLARK, THE BOY WITH THE BREAD
from The Hunger Games
by Suzanne Collins
HE SAID:
1. Katnis should have just left him to die... and rot. haha!
2. Peeta is desperate for love and attention.
3. Peeta is a loser.
4. Peeta is a weakling. Katniss is always saving Peeta. He's emotionally and physically weak.
5. A baker as opposed to a hunter. Seriously?
6. The book  (Hunger Games) is not a love story. Don't force it to be one. :)

SHE SAID:
Yes, there are scenes in the story where Peeta seemed feminine, weak, and needy. But don't forget that he is also selfless. I also think that Peeta and Katniss are soul mates; they complement each other. Peeta is loving and kind, and Katniss is strong-willed and protective. Together, they make a super couple.

*Note:
SHE is JoAnne.
HE is the boyfriend.
