The Sunday Story #2

Mailbox:
The books I got this week.
Still looking for a substitute for the In My Mailbox meme. After searching far and wide, I found: Mailbox Monday hosted by Mari at Mari Reads, Sunday Post hosted by Kimba at Kimba The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, and Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.

I accidentally clicked the Amazon One-Click. Gawd. How I hate Amazon One-Click, making me buy a book I don't even want to read! I hated Halflings, and I have no plans of reading The Making of a Halfling. O well... get over it JoAnne.

Anyways, aren't we all excited for Insurgent and Sweet Evil??? Happy happy! There are just so many good books coming out this week and the next! It's so hard to keep up.

A friend who is in love with Fifty Shades of Grey lent me her book. I read it to see what the fuss is all about.

Thank you Random House, HarperTEEN, and Egmont for the ARCs.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
The book/s I have read the past week, and the book/s I plan to read throughout the week.
hosted by Shiela at Book Journey

This week I finished the first book in the Fifty Shades Series. While the writing is not good, the story is easy to follow and the plot is intriguing. I was browsing the reviews on Goodreads, and they are so... varied. Some like it, some don't. As for me, I have to say this is the sickest, most disgusting book I've ever read, but I cannot seem to put it down. The characters are insane! Their sexual behavior is disturbing. They are perfectly imperfect in every way. But the story just made me wonder WHY THEY BECAME THAT WAY. So will I read the sequel? Not now. I've read too much deviancy to last me for about... 3 months, maybe? And no, I will not be reviewing Fifty Shades. My blog is strictly YA, and Fifty Shades is completely un-YA.

So anyway, I have started reading Sweet Evil, and so far... I am LOVING it, although I am quite annoyed with the goody two-shoes main character. When I finish Sweet Evil, I plan to start Insurgent. Yes! Finally, I have Insurgent. But I have to admit that I don't remember the plot and how it ended. All I can remember is that I loved everything about it and could not put it down.

Below are the links to the most recent book reviews on my blog:
