It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

The book/s I have read the past week, and the book/s I plan to read throughout the week.

I finished reading:

Tiger's Destiny (ARC) (The Tiger Saga #4) by Colleen Houck

Last week, I only managed to finish one book. There was a family emergency and, along with studying, I didn't have much time to read.

I loved Tiger's Curse and the other books in the series, and I was delighted I was able to get an advance copy of Tiger's Destiny by Colleen Houck. The book contains some of the elements that I adored in the first three books - action, adventure, mythical creatures, and exotic places. However, I wasn't really satisfied with the romance! There was no major development in this area as the book focused on the adventure aspect.

Plus, the advance copy withheld the last chapter (or last few chapters), so I still don't know how the book ends.

Anyway, this week, I hope to finish:

Stormdancer (ARC) (The Lotus War #1) by Jay Kristoff
Something Strange and Deadly (ARC) (Something Strange and Deadly #1) by Susan Dennard

I have heard so many good things about Stormdancer that's why I've been itching to get a copy. Upon seeing on NetGalley, I immediately requested it. This book is something new to me as I have never really read anything that is set in Japan (aside from Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden). And it's a fantasy book! I am a sucker for all things fantasy!
