It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

The book/s I have read the past week, and the book/s I plan to read throughout the week.

Last week, I finished reading:

Nerve by Jeanne Ryan
Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas (re-read!!!)

Well... the only thing I can say is that Nerve was an okay book. For those of you who are not familiar with it, it's about a girl who joined an online dare game. The thing I loved the most about it is the pacing - REALLY fast paced. I guess it can be considered similar to The Hunger Games, such that there are people who control the game and make the players do whatever the hell they want. But the similarity ends there. It isn't really dystopian. And I found some parts a bit... disturbing.

And because I LOVED the Throne of Glass so much, I had to read it the second time. (And that will not be the last, I tell you.) I really enjoyed reading about Celaena and the world that Sarah created. It's something that I would want to go back to from time to time. I can't help it. All I know is that I have a new "comfort read," meaning the book that will be read on rainy days, lazy days, and on Sundays.

This week, I plan to read:

Auracle by Gina Rosati
Looking for Alaska by John Green

I know, I know. Looking for Alaska has been released a long time ago. That's the reason why I will not be reviewing it anymore. I will just sit back, relax, and immerse myself in Green's fantastic wit and sarcasm.

Now about Auracle... I remember reading a review in Goodreads saying that this is more for the younger YA audience. So I was actually half-hearted when I purchased the book. But I can't help myself. I have never read a book about astral projection and I am really intrigued by the premise.
