Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry #2) by Simone Elkeles

I am actually surprised I managed to read three books this week. I am so busy these days, I am lucky if I get to finish one or two books.

Anyway, I don't know why I waited so long to read Scarlet. For those of you who don't know, Scarlet is a retelling of Robin Hood. I love the story of Robin Hood, and I think A.C. Gaughen did it justice. I loved the way the story was told - a modern, simplified version of Middle English.

And you should know that Robin Hood is sexy...

Moving on to The Syndicate. This is my first Shelena Shorts book, and I have to say that her writing is simple and very easy to get into. But I am not satisfied with the story per se. It's kind of bland. And the romance was rushed in every way. This is probably the thing that bothered me the most.

This week, I plan to read:

The Lost Prince (Call of the Forgotten #1) by Julie Kagawa
Losing Lila (Lila #2) by Sarah Alderson

Finally, you can request for a review copy of The Lost Prince on NetGalley! I am a HUGE Kagawa fan, and I am in love with The Iron Fey Series. I was saddened that the said series ended with The Iron Knight. But fortunately, Julie started a new series for her loyal fans.

I am not sure about what I feel about Ethan being the star of the next series, though. In my mind, he is still Meghan's baby brother who drags his stuffed bunny everywhere. He was so cute and adorable in The Iron Fey Series, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the book cover of The Lost Prince! Ethan-is-hawt.
