“Not even,” I say. “I didn’t suddenly turn vulnerable to your charm.”

His eyebrows rise. “Oh, you thought I was going to make a move on you?”

Top Ten Tuesday:

hosted by The Broke & The Bookish

Top Ten Bookish Confessions

ONE. I am JoAnne, and I am a book smeller. I fan the pages of a book on my face and smell it. I get high.

TWO. Sometimes, I just browse through the paragraphs, especially the internal monologue of the character / narration when the book I'm reviewing is so boring. Sometimes, I just couldn't make myself care about what the characters think or feel. I just wanted to get it over it.

THREE. I read Fifty Shades of Grey - all three books. For me, it was written like a script - get rid of the dialogue between the main characters, and you are left with nothing. BUT. I enjoyed it. It was entertaining. It was hot. NOT YA, so I'll stop talking about it now.

FOUR. In relation to number 3, I asked the boyfriend to read it. And he's currently reading the series. He's in the last book already. I'll really stop talking about it now.

FIVE. Twilight used to be my favorite book. Past tense, baby! Past tense. My current favorite is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Please read it dear reader. You will not regret it. Then let me know what you think.

SIX. I do not read all of the books I buy. I just buy them because I am an impulsive buyer.

SEVEN. I re-read steamy scenes. heh.

EIGHT. I wrap my favorite books in plastic. No, not just the cover, but the entire thing. This is because I hate dust and yellowing pages.

NINE. I HATE damaged book spines. That's why I never flip a book wide open, even if I have a hard time reading it.

TEN. I never dog ear my books - even school books. I always use bookmarks, or if I don't have one at the moment, I just make sure to take mental note of the page where I stopped.
