The Nerd's Word #18: Waiting On The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin + Swooning Over Remembrance by Michelle Madow

"Waiting On"

A book I cannot wait to get my hands on.
hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine

The Evolution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #2)
Expected publication: October 23rd 2012 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

Mara Dyer once believed she could run from her past.
She can’t.
She used to think her problems were all in her head.
They aren’t.
She couldn’t imagine that after everything she’s been through, the boy she loves would still be keeping secrets.
She’s wrong.
In this gripping sequel to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, the truth evolves and choices prove deadly. What will become of Mara Dyer next?

Would you guys think me shallow if I say I'm waiting for the Mara Dyer sequel because NOAH SHAW IS HOT and I want to read more about his hotness?

What are you waiting on?

Swoon:

Lines and/or scenes from a book that made me swoon.

This week, we have a sweet scene Remembrance (Transcend Time Saga #1) by Michelle Madow

"...I never loved her. I could never love her, because I love you, Elizabeth. It’s been you the entire time.”

His lips connected with mine before I could respond, erasing all thoughts of Chelsea, Jeremy, or anything other than the two of us together on the lake. No one existed other than Drew, and I leaned into him, my body melting into his. The kiss was soft and tender, and I allowed the undeniable pull between us to take over, savoring the electricity that passed between us.

I wrapped my arms around him and he pulled me closer, pressing his body against mine as the kiss became more urgent. Being with Drew was the only thing that felt right since the beginning of the school year, and I knew that it was too late to turn back.
