I placed my hands on his chest, curling my fingers into his sweater. “Hayden,” I whispered.

I am really not into books concerning religions, saints, and martyrdom, however I may have to set this book as an exception. I was captured by this line in the blurb: a boy who believes he is a saint. That line just piqued my interest. The concept of a saint just seems so original and new in a sea of vampires, shifters, and faeries.

Let me share with guys this swoonworthy scene from the second book of The Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck, The Tiger's Quest.

I pulled his head closer and kissed him softly. He broke away to study my face in surprise and then locked me tightly in his arms and kissed me back. His was no soft, sweet kiss. It was a hot, melty, smoldering one.

There are many different types of kisses. There’s a passionate kiss of farewell—like the kind Rhett gave Scarlett when he went off to war. The kiss of I-can’t-really-be-with-you-but-I-want-to-be—like with Superman and Lois Lane. There’s the first kiss—one that is gentle and hesitant, warm and vulnerable. For this reason, I am seriously considering in asking my cousin who lives in Sydney to get this book for me as soon as it comes out and mail it here as I am already itching to find out what happens.

The Wicked Lovely series was just amazing. It's filled with so much darkness and danger. The last book in the series, Darkest Mercy, blew me away. I wasn't happy with who ended up with who, though. But it has the kind of drama I need in a book. That's why Melissa Marr is one of my favorite authors.

I finished reading all four novellas last week, and I fell in love with the characters, and the world, and the way the story was told. It's so good and addicting! After reading them, I immediately contacted the local bookstore to order and reserve a copy - a hard bound edition of the Throne of Glass. A paperback copy will not do because I am already anticipating re-readings, and I can just imagine the wear and tear!. Hah! If the novellas are that good, then the main book would probably be better!

As to how many times I have read EACH BOOK in the series, I have lost count. I'm sure I am not the only one eagerly waiting for this book to come out. I just can't believe Ethan is all grown up. In my mind, he still carrying Floppy, his stuffed rabbit around.

So now, I am very eagerly waiting for Sacrifice.

Aside from that attractive cover, the thing that intrigued me the most about this book is the fact that it's a 1920s circus romance. The plot and the story line sounds very original. I am eagerly waiting for Tiger Lily because the book, according to the blurb, is a Peter Pan retelling. While I've never really liked Peter Pan's story, I grew up with it, and would like to see another writer's take on the popular novel.

I haven't read a book that is set in the Amazon rain forest. So this would be the first. Plus, I recently realized (LOL!) that I am a fan of YA SciFi books, and engineering an immortal race sounds perfect. And look at that cover? isn't it gorgeous? It actually reminds of Eve in the Garden of Eden.

I haven't read a book that is set in the 1920s. I haven't read the one by Jillian Larkin yet. So I really don't know what to expect. But there are three words written on the blurb that caught my eye, and those are: London, Prince and manor.

And don't get me started on the cover! THAT is just GORGEOUS. Will the story be just as good though? Hope so.

This week I am swooning over SHINE, the last book in the Shade Trilogy, by Jeri Smith-Ready. There were A LOT of swoony moments in this book, and it's all due Mr. Swoon himself, Zachary Moore. I love him. He's definitely one of my favorite YA boys.

When I read fantasy books, I become useless, unavailable, and yes... good for nothing. They keep me glued to the book until the very last page. They keep me up at night, making me groggy and dazed the next day. This unavailability and uselessness is what I expect to become when I read Throne of Glass this coming August.

You should know that this book has been published on FictionPress.com a long time ago. Unfortunately, I was not one of those who got the chance to read it. Those who have read it say it's really very good - giving it 5 stars.
