It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

The book/s I have read the past week, and the book/s I plan to read throughout the week.

I was reading Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready and Insurgent by Veronica Roth when City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare was released. And because I am addicted to all things Shadowhunter related, I dropped everything to read City of Lost Souls.

So this week, I finished City of Lost Souls, and as expected, the book is very good! Clare's story telling ability never ceases to amaze me. I love that I really get into it whenever I read her books. I swoon. I laugh. I get emotional. There are very few books that captures and demands my full attention, and most of her books occupy that list. I especially LOVE Clockwork Prince. That one just BLEW ME AWAY. Again... BLEW. ME. AWAY. I cannot express how much I love that book.

And so, for this week, I plan to finish Insurgent and Shine.

Anyway, I got this book with active content by Heidi Kling. It's called Witch's Brew, and it's published by Coliloquy. This is a different kind of book and it just intrigues me. So what is ACTIVE CONTENT? It a new type of e-reading that allows author and reader interaction. It's a choose your own adventure type of books and it allows the reader to make choices, and each choice would lead to a different outcome. It used to be available for the US Kindle users only, but a few days ago, I got a tweet that it is already available in Google Play for Android users and in NOOK.

Oh, by the way... did you know that the last book in The Mortal Instruments will come out in March 2014???
