It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Last week, I finished reading:

The Dark Light by Sara Walsh

All I can say is that The Dark Light was... okay. Nothing really stood out for me. Plus, the plot sounds very much like The Iron King - big sister travels to another dimension to look for younger brother. The only thing that's special about it is the cover. I still can't get over how HAWT that cover is - too hot for YA! I love it! Also, the cover does not look like a a cover of a fantasy book. At first glance, it looks like a raunchy romance novel. And this book is anything but that.

Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr
The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna

These are two of my most anticipated 2012 releases. There are no words for just how much I am excited to have these two. I am a huge fan of Melissa Marr. I especially loved the last book in the Wicked Lovely Series. It was pure fantasy without being overly childish. So dark and decadent. Now with respect to The Lost Girl, I like books that are set in very exotic places. After having read reviews saying that the main character travels from England to India, I knew this book would make me very happy.
